I translate from Spanish and French into British English, which is my mother tongue. I only accept translations in this direction, unless I agree to take on work "for information only", and provided this is agreed in advance with the client. Where necessary, I can also work with qualified colleagues who are native speakers of Spanish or French to ensure a high-quality product.
First you send me the original text (I can sign confidentiality agreements to protect you) with as much contextual information as you can (intended audience, relevant company guidelines, quality standards, etc.). I work out a costing, which will reflect factors such as the total number of words in your original document, textual complexity and file format, and will then discuss this with you. When we have agreed the cost and an approach including a workable timescale, I start the work and keep you informed of progress at all stages.
I do not currently offer interpreting services.
